ARM Foundation now accepting applications for 2022 scholarship cycle

This scholarship is available for high school seniors who are planning post-secondary education or for current post-secondary students, if you or your parent(s) are employed by a full ARM member. ARM must receive all required materials by March 31, 2022, or the application cannot be considered.

ARM Foundation 2021 Scholarships

The Automotive Recyclers of Minnesota Foundation awarded six $1,500 scholarships for the 2021 giving cycle. The scholarship recipients are selected by an independent panel of Minnesota educators.

ARM congratulates the following individuals on their scholarship awards and wishes all applicants the best of luck in their academic endeavors!

Morgan Hagel graduated from high school this past spring. Morgan will be attending North Arkansas College this fall where she intends to obtain a paramedic degree. Morgan says she is "hard working, detail oriented and relates well to others."

Abigail Huesers graduated from Cathedral High School this past spring. Abigail will be attending Morehead State University this fall where she intends to study law so that she can become a paralegal or lawyer. Abigail describes herself as smart, shy, and flexible.

Jeremiah Karels Will graduate from Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School in June of 2021. In the fall Jeremiah will be attending Ridgewater College (Willmar, MN) where he is enrolled in the Autobody and Collision Technology Program. Jeremiah has worked at Reaper's Choice Auto Parts since May 2017. He is a "very versatile employee who can easily be placed in different positions as needed but his main position is for full vehicle dismantles as well as draining and prepping cars for the crusher."

Josephine Meyers graduated from Cathedral High School this past spring. This fall Josephine will be attending St. Benedict's where she would like to study medicine—perhaps focusing on Art Therapy or Physical Therapy. Josephine would like to work somewhere in the field of medicine because she "loves helping others” and it brings her" joy "knowing I am making a difference".

Ryan Rudd will graduate from Orono High School in June of 2021. This fall Ryan will be attending University of Wisconsin – La Crosse - where he hopes to obtain a bachelor's degree in business. Ryan describes himself as "a hardworking, determined, skillful, funny, loving person who always has a positive attitude."

Nathan Strang graduated from Onamia High School this past spring. Nathan will be attending University of Minnesota – Morris this fall where he intends to study Computer Science. Nathan would like to work in IT and has always been interested in computers.
